WHO WE ARE
Kate Kelso is the founder of K. Our firm represents a variety of business, financial, institutional, and individual clients in a wide range of matters. We provide the best estate planning services, with an absolute dedication to offering accessible and affordable legal guidance to all.
Kate received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. As a South Florida native, Kate’s calm and personable demeanor is combined with a drive for professional excellence, powered by a passion for helping her clients. As Kate was previously a human rights attorney, she provides the utmost trustworthy and transparent legal services to all of her clients.
The genesis of the K. Kelso Law practice was Kate’s long-held goal to create a firm that is woman-founded, owned, and operated. She has thoughtfully crafted her team of intelligent, creative, and caring women, mentoring them as they start on their own road to practicing law. They work together to facilitate each one’s dream. As a team, K. Kelso Law also has a deep commitment to community outreach and volunteerism. It takes a village.
K. Kelso Law is committed to providing the highest quality estate planning that is affordable for all. No matter your age, the value of your assets or property, whether you’re just starting a family or planning for retirement, preparing for your and your loved ones’ futures is paramount. Our clients are people, not contracts. Our goal is to reduce the legal jargon and make each client’s legal needs and solution options as understandable as possible.
Our mission statement: To provide comprehensive custom estate plans that are individualized and compassionate, empowering every client by using wills, trusts, and estate planning as they make important decisions for their family and their future.
At K. Kelso Law, we never waver from the Golden Rule: Treating others as one wants to be treated. We believe that honesty and transparency should define all our interactions so that our legal explanations, assistance, and advice are always clear and unambiguous. From our fees to our procedures, there are no surprises and no hidden agenda. In addition to transparency and efficiency of our services, we prioritize each client’s convenience when scheduling sessions. We aim to ease the process of creating the best plan for your individual needs. Most estate planning attorneys focus only on what happens at death; we focus on your entire journey because we understand that as life changes, so should your estate plan. That’s the K. Kelso Law difference.
